The Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVÜ) Faculty of Dentistry continues its activities as part of its mission to raise public awareness. Kardelen College was one of the faculty's stops this year as part of its annual oral and dental health training program, which has become a tradition. The seminar, aimed at primary and secondary school students, aimed to instill proper oral hygiene habits from an early age.
The training was attended by Dr. Işınsu ALKAN, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Ahmet MANNASOĞLU, Research Assistant in the Department of Endodontics, and faculty students.
During the seminar, the faculty and students not only provided the children with theoretical information but also aimed to increase their interest in the subject. The training provided comprehensive information on tooth brushing techniques, the positive impact of a healthy diet on dental health, and how to prevent tooth decay. Colorful visuals, educational videos, and interactive games were used to reinforce this information and capture the children's attention.
With such social responsibility projects, NEVÜ Faculty of Dentistry has once again proven that it plays an important role not only in the academic field but also in raising the health awareness of the local people.
