NEVÜ Health Sciences Journal Started Publishing

Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University has launched a new academic journal to strengthen its scientific production capacity and support high-quality academic publishing in the health field. The "NEVÜ Journal of Health Sciences" aims to contribute to the scientific community as a peer-reviewed, open-access publication platform that meets international academic standards and will be published regularly starting in 2025.

The journal will create a strong scientific sharing environment for academics, researchers and health professionals at both national and international levels by featuring original research, review articles and multidisciplinary studies conducted in all sub-fields of health sciences.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Semih Aktekin, emphasized that by supporting the journal's establishment, we have taken another important step toward increasing the university's scientific visibility. Faculty administration emphasized that high-quality studies, particularly from fields such as Dentistry, Medicine, Medical Biochemistry, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Nutrition, and Molecular Biology, will enhance the journal's academic impact.

The journal will publish using a double-blind peer-review process in accordance with COPE ethical principles; all articles will be open access to researchers. Furthermore, all published studies will be internationally recognized with a CrossRef DOI number. The journal's online infrastructure is based on Open Journal Systems (OJS), and the first issue will be published in December 2025.

Dr. Umut Kökbaş, Editor of the NEVÜ Journal of Health Sciences, invited all researchers working in the health sciences to submit their work to the journal. The journal aims to submit a TR Index application shortly and, in the long term, to be listed in international indexes such as DOAJ, Scopus, ISI, and PubMed Central.

NEVÜ is poised to make a strong contribution to the academic ecosystem by opening a new door in regional and national scientific publishing.
